ROWAN UNIVERSITY UTILIZED A FLEET OF 10 CHARIOTS AS AN EFFICIENT AND GREEN WAY TO TRANSPORT PASSENGERS AROUND CAMPUS ON GRADUATION DAY.
"As the commencement officer at Rowan University I have the daunting task of transporting 12,000 guests to seven different ceremonies across a 279 acre campus—rain or shine. Last year, Chariots of Philly assisted in accommodating my request to transport some of our guests through the main thoroughfare of campus. I must admit, at first my committee and I thought they would not survive the uphill terrain. We were wrong! The chariots were in full force and quick to respond throughout the morning. They were so effective that we invited them to participate in our transportation schedule again this year—increasing the number of chariots. The Chariots of Philly staff are wonderful from the lead person, Tom Dambman to all of the individual cyclists. They accommodated any and all types of guests—families with children as well as the elderly. Strollers and extra belongings were stored within the vehicle for easy transport. All in all the chariots were a welcome addition and certainly a conversation piece well beyond the day. We are glad to say all went extremely well and that they are returning this year in greater numbers."
