WE VOLUNTEER AT MANY LOCAL EVENTS, INCLUDING:

LIVESTRONG CHALLENGE PHILLY

August 2008 and August 2009, Blue Bell, PA

We volunteered to ride our chariots along the 5k run/walk course at the Blue Bell campus of Montgomery County Community College. Our passengers were kids that have been affected by cancer who are being supported by the event. The kids had a blast and had the opportunity to experience the event by actually traveling the same course as all of the volunteer participants.

BARBARA COOK RUN-RIDE-WALK FOR CANCER

July 2009, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, NJ

We volunteered to ride our chariots around the racecourse carrying family members of participants in the event.

BIKE FREEDOM VALLEY

June 2008 and June 2009, Philadelphia, PA

This is a fun ride that supports the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia... check out the 2 links above to learn more about it. We volunteered our chariots to serve as sag-wagons (support bicycles) on the Art Museum to East Falls/Kelly Drive Loop.

BIKE PHILLY

September 2009, Philadelphia, PA

http://www.bicyclecoalition.org/content/bike-philly

This is a short, car-free event in Center City where cyclists can experience riding downtown - but without the traffic or worrying about cars. We volunteered to serve as Sag Wagans - support bikes - from the Art Museum to Columbus Blvd/Penns Landing and back, helping riders who had flat tires or bike problems that would have prevented them from finishing the ride.
